Hi

I have now got Full link!!

The dealer got it to work in the end, I now have the same problem as before but not sure what the dealer did to get it to work

It comes up with ish device not supported, so I think it's the phone and something in the settings, there isn't really much help out there at the moment for It !!

Thanks!!!

I have a G3, it worked with Android auto, I know it won't work with mirrorlink, I will be getting an Samsung s7 though so will be interested if that works ok I'm a week or so.

The message is that the Usb is not supported, but it is!!! So frustrated!!

You need to make sure your phone is running at lease Android 5.0 aka lollipop. If you dont have this wont work.

I now have a reliable solution!!

Each time in the android auto app, you need to forget the car in the options and then go back to the homepage of android auto and then it works

I get my s7 next week though so not took bothered but it now works which is good

Android Auto is supported only in following countries:

Argentina
Austria
Bolivia
Brazil
Chile
Colombia
Costa Rica
Dominican Republic
Ecuador
Guatemala
India
Panama
Paraguay
Peru
Puerto Rico
Russia
Switzerland
Uruguay
Venezuela

If you are resident of non-country listed, you need to apply following workaround fix

forum.xda-developers.com/android-auto/android-auto-general/country-availability-android-auto-t3172663/page4

Yes works perfectly S7 Edge in the UK!! Compared to my LG G3 which never really worked properly!!

Thanks, Beram also.

I don't pick my car up till Friday  so haven't had a play yet.

But what do you use more often? Mirror link or android auto?

With mirror link can you get your actual phone display up or is it limited to seat apps?

Thanks

Could you please tell me the steps you took to connect your phone? I got my s7 today, have installed seat drive and androud auto. Although when I connect it to my car nothing happens. Both the car and phone do not recognise that it is plugged in !

Thanks

Nothing special tbh, just plugged it in, went to "full link" in the menu of the car and it automaticly starts android auto on my phone.
Maybe try a different cable? I have no idea :/

Hi all. To use android auto you will need to have "android auto" app on your device. As I know it can be installed only on android 5 and higher, and as already was mentioned, not all countries are supported, but it can be installed in those countries but with some tricks.

I updated my HTC m8s to Android 6 a few weeks ago and now Android Auto doesn't work nor does the car recognise music on my phone from the USB link. Has anyone any clues
