Can anyone confirm 100% that my 2000 X Leon Cupra with leather and all the toys has 288mm of 312mm discs without me getting out with a tape measure?

Also is it possible to retrofit the 312mm discs onto one with 288mm discs, if so any ideas what would need to be changed, would I need new caliper carriers rom a later model?

Any response grarefully received

It looks like the only way anyone could confirm without you getting out the tape measure is if we got out the tape measure. :p

I'm pretty sure they all have 312mm discs, BUT and its a big but, a 2000 leon IS different to a 2001 onwards AFAIK because it has the KO3 turbo instaed of KO3s - if they fitted a different turbo its not crazy to think they fitted different size discs.

I spoke to the local motor factor, and the 288mm discs were fitted from launch until July 2000.
My car was registered September 2000 and I have 312mm discs I have checked the sizes
Also I do have the K03s turbo on mine, so who knows when the decided to change the brakes and the turbos!

I got my mate to see what my car would look like with the Cupra R kit on, and liked the pic
