think its cos a lot of companies assume the breaks on the cupra are the same as the golfs etc, which IIRC have smaller discs? Cos everything else is the same they dont look into this to check?
Only an idea.

Early non-VVT Leon Cupras that came with full leather etc. had 288mm discs on the front, only when the change came in 2000 to the fabric interior etc. (Re-badged 'Sport' became the 'Cupra') did they change to 312mm and have stayed that way. LCR has 323mm discs, however Euro R has Cupra 312mm brakes with Brembos being an optional extra, they also can have 17" LCR alloys instead of our 18".

o.k so the cupra defo has 312mm discs, im looking at getting some discs for the front so was thinking of getting standard discs and some pagid or ferodo pads.
been looking at german swedish & french but they dont list the leon with 312mm discs, they do the audi TT with the 312mm discs, would these fit o.k on my cupra?
anyone know? cheers

brembo discs & pagid FR pads

just thought i'd let you guys know that I have been to GSF to find out about discs & pads, very surprised at prices.
I just wanted some bog standard discs and some good performance pads, ended up with some brembo vented discs and some fast road pagid pads, all in I paid just over 130 quid which I thought was quite good considering ive got some good kit.
seat dealer wanted for the same close to 200 quid for the discs + pads and they were just bog standard discs & pads! they also wanted 90 quid to fit so 290 quid all in.
its going to end up costing me 170 quid by the time I have paid someone to fit the kit, not doing it myself as wouldnt have a clue.
anyone who has a leon cupra 01> and wants part numbers give me a shout, cheers
