Charlie, I did undercoat/primer grey.. VW Orange.. Day-Glo Orange then a few coats of laquer to give it a sheen.
Tolly.. might try to get over there this week, if only to show off the orange rims.

Cool beans - I've got some red primer ready to rock and roll on the project, and then I'm gonna stick with VW briliant orange all the way through I think (then laquer of course).

I'm back home in Surrey I'm afraid this week, Tolly. I'll make sure to let you know when I'm going to be around to a meet - I've not been to one either for literally months! x

Well I can be almost certain cookies will come next time - I've moved into a new house in Cov, with what looks like a much better oven (it's newer anyroo) so hopefully my baking antics will be back up and running properly in the very near future

yup. road trip last night . needs slamming on rims at mo , its like a Golf Country on the drive
but it'll soon be getting fettled. insured it ths morning for peanuts on a classic policy so alls good.
