wierd one today.. took the rims off to give the calipers a quick paint over to freshen them up and noticed the tyre on one of the rims hadnt beaded properly on the inside!! i have actually done motorway driving on this too and had various people in the car with me at various times!! Spare (borbet A) is on for tonight and Im off to the tyre fitters tomorrow to get it sorted. job I could do without as im pretty busy dong allsorts at present, but it needs done.

its just beaded in one part on the inner lip.. really mad looking the way its sat.. but its one ogf the rears.. even so fair old bit of M/way driving (pod etc) with it like that.. Im sure the lads at the tyre fitters will sort it and apologise profusely tomorrow, they're a decent bunch.

All sorted now anyway and just got to put it back on the car later.

Suj.. 45 profile Avon tyre. (yeah, i guess luckily not one of the Cookies) Dale.. I didnt see the lad in there although there is a new kid so whether hes been booted and theyve got another lad or he's just on hol/day off i dont know but yeah, i'd hazard a guess he'll get his ass kicked proper when/if hes back. as i use the place regular as im always getting rims rubbered down there and its known im forever changing my wheels..

Balloons went just after the last night meet up at Sutton.. 45's have been on since before Pod, the MegaMeet etc so Im bloody lucky in that sense!

Ive been thinking about a similar thing for mine.
.I think those wheels really suit the mk2.
them wheels would look awful on the mk2 and there to big the black wheels you have look awesome though.

Flippin' heck! Easy enough fix though by filling up air at a high pressure then realised it!
Weird how they didn't pick up when fitting the tyres though!
Even more 'scarey' when you think ive been driving on it for a month and ive also been on my private track
Black ones will stay on for the time being.. need to sort out the bolts for the cookies. but as Im actively searching for my next project, i dunno how much longer I'll have the Mk2
