Can you post a picture of 18" wheels diamond cut with gloss black, how would you go about getting this if you were ordering a new car as it's not an option.

I think the "Titanium Pack" has been discontinued as it's not available on Seat.

Seen them on a Leon for sale on AutoTrader, looks amazing imo. Although not sure where they got it done.

Cheers man, appreciate it... looks stunning! Don't know if it looks too boy racer-ish though, not sure if I can pull it off @31 lol. I also found this while looking for the diamond cut version you mentioned. Looks quite nice but again are they too boy racer-ish?? ;)

PS. I prefer the diamond cut, bit more understated and refined

I would happily swap my Performance alloys for a set. Or even go for the Octavia vRS alloys which are very similar but more black.

Damn you playerjs, just spent 30 mins online looking at alloys! Found some really nice ones up in Stockton so I might pop over when I'm back in Boro visiting the family.

Might even keep the Performance alloys and stick some winter rubber on….

Just been down my local wheel specialist and they've quoted 385 all in for the wheels as above but in audi carbon grey and a Matt finish! I reckon they'll look really smart :)

That's sounds nice...[B)] are you definitely going to have it done? Did they tell you how long it will take? I am definitely going to have it done when I get my car it's worth the £385 imo.

I prefer the look of the standard 17"s. The 18"s that are an upgrade option when ordering look like its trying too hard to look sporty but not quite pulling it off and dare I say it a bit tacky :). The design is too fussy. The Original 17"s look a bit Audi :)

I like the 18 inch performance wheels tbh :) but its personal choice. These might help you decide...

The difference in tyre prices may help people decide, taking the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 as an example:

Price for the 17" tyre fitted: £75.70 (size 225/45 YR17 91Y)
Price for the 18" tyre fitted: £88.90 (size 225/40 YR18 92Y XL)

So at todays prices the 17" tyre is roughly £13 a corner cheaper.

Meppershall Beds.
when all's said and done you pays your money and takes your choice.
You might even get a better price when you sell the car on if it's got 18s, you might not.
Depends if the buyer wants them or not.
I'm happy with 17s for a slightly softer ride, being an old git with a dodgy back.
Maybe I should have bought an SE.....but I love the FR!
