Forge TIP pics

Has anyone got any pics of a forge tip unfitted. from different angles would be great.

well the blue one clearly states mk4 ibiza fr,polo gti which is different to the mk3 iirc.
what do you need to see?

oh yeah, i didn't click on the forge link. the black one must be the same one then.

I just need to see clearly where all the connector bits are...I was guna ask if a company who make a golf tip would be able to mod it to fit an ibiza directly.

Dont think its that carl, just he can probably get hold of a mk4 golf one for cheaper than the forge.
But the mk4 one can be made to fit the ibiza anyway, but the forge Ibiza specific one, fits alot better without much fettleing!

if I write a program for something and someone else is writing a similar program but gets stuck short so takes a peak at my source code and then uses it in theres and makes money from it...that is theft

I meant from a fitting perspective, forge designed the ibiza one to specifically fit the ibiza. The mk4 golf one fits, but isn't lined up correctly, hence why it needs adapting.

The hassle of getting a company to adapt thier mk4 golf |TIP so it fits an ibiza, would be more hassle than its worth.

jim, there's also a reason why many people on here have swapped their mk4 tip for an ibizxa tip when they were released.

you're getting the wrong idea of what i'm trying to do...i was thinking of ordering a golf tip but just asking them to not include one of the connectors for example. It's just an idea and I doubt the company would even agree to it because of the hassle.

I expect I will just get the forge but I wouldn't turn down a half price alternative.

your comparison to computer program coding is a totally different mate and opens up a whole new kettle of copyright laws which wouldn't apply to a TIP.

ok if you were only wishing to see how they differed then fair enough i apologise, but to me it sounded like you were trying to have another company copy the design of the forge TIP

if its a silicone hose then the likely hood it could not be modified anyway because of the tooling used to make it. as tom said, mk4 tip would fit anyway.
