Got the relay but think the diagram is switched up.
This says it sends power to 87A when 12v is supplied. But it doesn't

Anyway, forgot that it does not want 12v to go trough pin 30 though, otherwise the mirror would get constant 12v.

This is what I think what will work. (messy write up in notes but still have to wire it up and see)

Sounds like a plan. Quite normal to find chinese componants with wrongly labeled diagram and terminals.. I spent ages troubleshooting a electronics project, only to find they'd labeled then connector wrong in the factory

I think i messed up bigtime but i'm lucky..
2 wires that i put aside for the passenger side mirror were touching and shorting everything out, melted some of the wires from the module..

F##k. Lucky the mirror does work again via the switch

Ordered a new folding mirror module for the new wiring and connector.

Feeling so stupid after this dumb mistake

Don't worry mate, easy to make mistakes. At least no serious damage done.

Congrats Bro, well done for sticking with it!
Yeah well some would think its so much time involved for such a simple thing but it makes the car a bit more OEM+. Maybe if others want to go the cheap way (which actually works) they can follow this thread.

Thanks anyway for sticking around :)

Nice going mate.

That is how things happen and get done - someone as persistent as you didn't dodged the problem. Now others can follow.

There is however 1 problem left; drivers mirror adjustment does not move to the left, because its somehow interfering with the right side mirror.
I will update this thread as soon as its fixed.

If that is fixed with most likely another relay on the passenger door on those wires then this is still a great ~€30 mod for folding mirrors on remote

Now I can fully say that the project is 100% finished. Had to put another 2 relays on those 2 mirror wires, now the mirror glass and everything works as it should + the folding mirrors via switch & remote.

After making it nice & tidy

You would better off running the ignition wire from 75x with those 2 mirror wires directly but because I didn't want to dissasemble the lower dash again I used this switched 12v from the glove box light (brown/black wire) to power those 2 extra relays

It is in fact a cheap and useful mod but it seems quite wiring complicated. Did you consider making a manual how to?
Well for the people who are interested, finding the wires isn't that complicated anymore since we now know the 2 wires for unlock/lock signal and 2 for the mirror motors.

I don't have pics for like every step but I could make make like a partslist and a summary of what needs to be done if there's interest

Great! That would help a lot.
