Folding Mirrors from Key Fob

Hi Folks

Does anyone know how to program your fob to fold the mirrors in automatically when you lock the car?

My mate's Leon does this but our new Ibiza FR doesn't seem to do it and we are wondering if this is something that's programable or not?

An update on the wing-mirrors from my dealer... The electric folding wing-mirrors on the Ibiza FR can be programmed via the VAG-COM (at the dealer) to automatically operate with the ignition on/off.

Unlocking of one door or multiple doors and the doors locking when going a certain speed can also be changed, so that's all good!

This is from the other forum, not looked into it myself, but maybe techie can shed some light on it, guessing it's not just the FR that can do this.

Ill have a look on VAS. But tbh it might be another one of those things that is possible to program if you have the right correction to the long coding but it isnt made available to us (much like the turning off of the corner lighting).

If I get the chance I'll get my boss to bring his VAG cable in one day and try the latest version of VCDS.

When we tried it a couple of months ago it was missing label files and didn't know what most of the components in the car were. There's a more recent version of the software available now, so hopefully it'll have some updated files in it.

It's not an adaption or coding option on our diag machine. I suspect it could be done if you only knew the channel to change.

you can see what is coming and fold them just before you open the door!they have power to fold even if you take the key out until you open the door!after you open the door they can't fold

Hi I have just looked at a 10 plate and asked if they could fold from the key, the salesman went into the workshop and came back saying yes they can code it to fold on the key/remote.
