Folding Mirrors from Key Fob

Lol sounds like a lazy option to me! But could work.

Like mercs. When u open the door the wing mirrors unfold automatically and when u lock the door from the keyfob, the Wing mirrors fold.

I have a 2016 Ibiza Fr and have activated it using the Carista app.

I'm not sure it's possible via the released version of Carista yet. It is via the Beta and you would have to get in touch with Carista to get on the Beta test programme to get that. Not a problem (certainly wasn't for me and others on this forum)

Now in the car, go to Car Settings -> Mirrors and Wipers.

Previously this menu had been curiously named as despite the name, it only had options for wipers with nothing at all to do with mirrors.
But now you'll have a new option of "Mirrors - Fold away after parking". The menu item should already be ticked from the VCDS changes.

Mirrors behave exactly as you'd expect - fold away when locking, and unfold when starting the ignition.
