Fitted a set from DriveForward to my Ibiza Cupra 16v on the weekend. Literally took 3 minutes!
Because the blades are different lengths from standard @ 2cm coverage on the outer arc of the passenger's side is lost but almost the entire height of the screen on the driver's side is now swept. I daresay the passenger blade could probably be adjusted but I don't feel its really worth it - hopefully the passenger won't be doing the driving.

Sunday's weather here proved to be a good test of the floppy's abilities. Very impressive - excellent water dispersal characteristics, consistent across the length of both blades. No lifting at all at speed & so far nary a hint of a squeak - even with a dry screen. :D

Okay chaps, some help needed here!
Having fitted a set of these lovely floppy blades to my Ibiza my girlfriend is sooo impressed that she has "asked" for one for her (don't laugh) Citroen AX - it only has one central wiper so it would be rather nice if it worked properly!
Anyone know if Renault does a 22" floppy blade? (Local Stealer was utterley unhelpful/clueless).

ill check the list - you sure its a 22" ?? seems a bit large even for a single

from memory there was a kit with that size in it or damn close at least so you will have to get a pair again - but hey :) cut the spare one down for the rear on yours OR hers

better still your rear one :p

i'll check in the am - list is at work

Many thanks, Flapper. I've checked & both GS&F & ECP quote 22" for the AX front wiper. Think I'll keep the second one for the rear on the old Ibiza! GF needed a new runabout asap & the AX with 12 months MOT, 6 months tax & a genuine 36k on the clock was too good to turn down for £575. :p

Hi Chaps,

Sorry if I'm being a bit thick or lazy here, I had a set of Driveforwards aero wipers, but was around the time my little 'un was born & so as he hadn't heard from me, he flogged them to someone else (which is fair enough)

I now want to get hold of a set of these wipers can anyone point me in the right direction & is the code I need for an LCR; ( 77 11 236 179 - Renault part no) & how much £

If not can someone show me the light please?

Many thanks in advance ;)

thats the ones and should be about £30 odd from any GOOD Renault dealer

although you may need to perservere with them and ask them to check the number at the factory

for Stu HR - i'd use the same kit as above and cut down the long (24") one as a 22" is listed but in a pair for a vel satis :( and costs about £60 :(:(:(:( booooo
- plus i'm only 95% sure its the right style fitting - better safe than sorry

at least you have a rear one to fit then :)
