Oh dear, i think i've gone and cause a bit of chaos:whistle:

As you know wife's car flooded out. So been trying to get her new one but opted for FR Tdi instead of 20VT. Anyway she set her heart on a Yellow one but all dealerships were quoting factory order time of 6-8 weeks and some 3 months!

Just happened to be up north so popped into dealer i so far had not contacted, please can you get me a yellow car. Answer was yes 7-10 days there is one in port. I thought this was weird as no one else could get me one but i did the deal and put down £500 notes.

1 week later and no word so i call. Sorry the cars been damaged in port, and nobody will tell them how damaged. Sales bloke says he will call me when he knows what's going on. Meanwhile more local dealer rings me and asks have i done a deal yet, i tell him the story about the damage car. Next thing he says is that he's lied to you mate, i've been looking on the system and there isn't one.

So called to see whats going on and still no joy just that we can get you an alternative colour in a week. Do you want me to go ahead. So i said yes but still not being happy i've contacted SEAT Uk and they've started an investigation into the matter. Sale under false declaration me thinks.
