Update on the beeza. Looks like it's more fooked than i thought. Waters subsided yesterday and i decided to re assess the damage. You could clearly see the tide mark just above the sill and only real evidence inside was wet carpets (seats dry as a bone).
Again it started first time so i pulled it out of the still damp garage left it outside with windows down to dry the interior a bit (strangly sunny here now). At this point I thought i'd get the dealers to give it the once over and then get it properly valeted.
Got home from work tonight looked like more rain so went out to close car windows and have more of a general nosey. Put in the key clicked to start electrics then all hell happened all warning lights came on EPC light? error messages, readout now in km's and outside temp gauge says -45 degrees, gauges wagging about No chance of starting either.
So basically it's balls to everything and make that call to the insurance people. Really glad i got the no claims protection this year!
