hi finally picked my tdi sport up on wednesday afternoon i got 500 yards down road when got warning chime:( quickley discovered it was passenger seat belt warning went straight back to dealer who spent best part of an hour trying to fix it before deciding they need a code from tech support fix it .
they arrange to collect car next day (thurdsay) and fix it they return the car 2 hours later fixed ok .
today we take a day off work and have a drive around cornish coast everything seamed ok but on the way home drivers door starts to creak when pulling away:(
drop missus at home and i take car to put in garrage for the night when chime returns[:@]
what should i do ?
this after being pissed around by dealer for weeks

are you sure it was the door creeking and not the steering rack. Known problem on the new leon as you are pulling away slowly. I had my steering rack changed last week after only 1000 miles. If your dealer is anything like mine then they won't really seem that bothered that your new car is not upto expected standard. They just say bring it in and we will look at it. No thought of what sort of customer experience I'm I having.

Hello,

I'm having the same problem just picked up my leon 2.0 tdi with body kit on Wednesday. Going to the garage on Sat so if I find out what the problem is I will let you know

Same here with the selt belt light/chime. Got my 2.0 tdi dsg last Saturday and within a couple of hours I was getting an emissions warning light. The seat belt light problem started later in the afternoon. Whilst driving down the M40 on Sunday I lost acceleration and the car went into limp home mode, basically will keep doing 60 but will not accelerate. Once you stop though, it won't accelerate away again. Waited an hour for the AA to arrive and he found a pipe wasn't connected in the engine - something to do with the exhaust gas mixture. He connected it and then cleared the fault codes with his laptop. This sorted the seat belt light problem too. Everything has been fine since.
