The noise on mine isn't too bad, it doesn't always do it and when it does it’s only between 3 - 4000 rpm. What really bothers me is that the tail pipe sit's to the left. Does anyone else’s? Blue flame say this is the way it was designed to fit as it’s too big to sit centrally.

Eh? Too big to sit centrally? If it's too big, it's too big to fit anywhere. And if it's too big, why did they make it that big knowing it was going to be too big? And if it was designed to sit to the left, does that mean everybody who has a central sitting exhaust has a faulty product?

The more I hear about this company, the more they sound like a bunch of cowboys.

They said the cut out isn’t actually straight and changes shape at the back. I’ve looked and there right. But I agree why make it that big! Thing is when jabba looked at it for me there was someone there with the same exhaust that fitted fine but when studdied sat the same as mine. Maybe some people don’t notice, I’m fairly fussy.

i have a blueflame on my lcr,so far no problems.mine booms between 3-4000 rpm but its going to as the whole bore of the complete system is larger than the original.if you drive through town between these rpms than yes you might feel like a boy racer, but its not difficult to change gear or drop revs to stay out of this rpm area is it.

Surrey darling...
I'd go back to BF and insist that they rectify your issues tbh... a performance exhaust isn't cheep and you have every right to have what you daid for - not a load of their excuses as to why you have boomy/rattley periods and why it may not sight right in your cut out!

Reading the previous comments puts me off wanting to deal with a company like this...

To be honest mines not that bad as stew said its easily avoided just wish it sat that bit better.
If yours is really that loud bentaw maybe your down pipe has gone, do you have the uprated dog and bone bushes?

When i got my system i rang up blueflame and asked about getting a gasket to fit between the d/p and cat but they said all they ever use is silicone sealant!

BF will tell you anything to get you off the phone mate......they told me that mine rattled because the local kids had put stones in the exhaust. Good diagnosis over the phone.....NOT !!!
I was like dont be :censored: stupid, its not that kind of rattle,in the end I hung up as they basically didnt give a flying :censored: ....lol

When picked my car up from having the BF fitted was told that because of the monstrousity of the exhaust and the size difference it sits close to the heat padding at the rear the garage actually trimed this for me but he said under abnormal loads u may get a slight vibration. It could be that the garage didnt trim ur heat padding so might vibrate that little bit more.

This sounds to me like its something resonating. Would explain why it only does it at certain RPM's there was a post on here about a heat shield.. Thats the best place to start looking. I has this on my A3 took of my CAT guard and it stopped. :D May be worth a look in to?
