So the old cooler needed a coat of black again meaning it was no good?

I painted it black to keep the car looking as original as possible, a fresh coat would have made it as good as new.

Do miss this car though

that looks not bad, old cooler would have been good with a clean and metal polish ;)

You just won't listen will you.. From the moment you got the car you have been trying to find faults that arnt even there. You have change parts that have never needed changing like intercooler, when bill mapped the car I said is the intercooler ok and he said yes its fine, the pipe work was fine also,I know this because I fitted it al and you had it smoked testedl. IMO your weeing your money up the wall. If your happy with the power then just enjoy what you have, I know the car was plenty fast enough (13.8 1/4 mile in road trim). Loads of people have told you the car is fine stop fussing.

The options are leave it and stop spending money pointlessly, keep wasting your money or if you want more power, like your mate said go big turbo.

I'd love to see some pics of the car though please

im not looking for faults mate, im looking to get her to the best that i can cos i now i will own this car for a few years yet and want it tip top .. when i had the car at bills he told me that inlet temps were a bit high thats why i replaced the cooler mate and so its got a fresh look to it :)

Would a 3" tip fit in the ibiza bay? That's the only sensible lower cost thing that would take it that little bit further.

if it will fit, and ABS pump migth have something to say about it on ibiza install... and coolant pipes perhaps too.... It will flow more. It does on every other K04 its fitted to

The metal water pipe has been cut and replaced with a flexible pipe. It has a ko4 tip on at the moment so I think it's very possible.

I'm not buying the 10hp from and air filter etc. just don't see it it was also never picked out as a problem to me when I had it looked at and mapped by bill, the intake temps wasn't high then either yet a few years down the line the same air filter and intercooler isn't good enough and the map needed tweaking by the person that originally mapped it.

10hp less that the original bhp figure means it was 226bhp when I had it with bills original mapping.

Something doesn't add up. Be careful of people just trying to sell you stuff that you don't need, no offence but It doesn't seem like your a hard guy to sell something or and idea to.

3" tip if it fits would be a nice compliment to the set up though
