EPC light and loss of boost

EPC light came on today, no boost atall. Restarted, still the same. Restarted once more, EPC light went out but the management light came on. Boosting fine again.

Will get vagcom on it as soon as I can but anyone got any guesses?

this happened to my LCR aswell took it to seat and they said it was ECU after i had changed the pedal it was still the same.i stripped the car down to find the ECU under the wipers there was a broken wire from ecu to pedal connector re wired it up and alls fine now

Ive got the same problem mate what was the outcome or have you still got the boost/epc issues?

Temp. fix (worked for my sister's Lupo anyway) - tape a piece of card to the top of the pedal where the plunger meets it to pack-out any gap

pedal potentiometer problem isself ,they run on 2 tracks and track wear out/poor contacts

Only ive Vagcom'd it and its shows 0-100% range of pedal input??

Same problem and just replaced accel pedal and still sometimes getting "ESP" light coming on dash and in gimp mode. Don't know where to start next

Holy cow, this is a blast from the past.. mine turned out to be the throttle wire going back to the ECU that i had snagged when putting in a boost gauge so just re-soldered it.
