Need some help guys!
I own an ibiza cupra and recently on long journeys my car has started revving itself!
It only occurs when on a longish journey 30 - 40+ minutes less if you driving the car hard. If for example i accelerate upto 3k in second gear and then let off to change gear the car will rev itself upto 4.5k and then drop down. This happens in every gear and it revs higher if you accelerate to a higher rpm e.g if I acccelerate upto 5k it will rev itself right on to the limiter a 7k and then drop back down.
It also happens if I accelerate and then just let off the car will carry on accelerating which is worrying!!
I had vac-com plugged into to see if there were any faults occuring but there wasn't any.
The car is going back into the garage on wed where they are going to take the car out when it is doing it to do some logging but any help from you guys on what the problem is or how to fix it will be much appreciated!

p.s I have an a switchable APR re-map and the revving is worse when the remap is on!
