Engine Flush

As per the title, would you ppl recommend using engine flush before an oil change or not.

Ive heard that the engine oil that is used in modern day engines already contains these cleaning products so when you drain the oil you just need to replace with new oil instead of using the flush.

Any recommendations of the types of product to use if its advisable to do this.

I usually do purely for the fact that it helps thin the oil to make it drain more efficiently.
What oil are you going to put in?

I have Mobil1 in the car at the moment but as it is hard to get hold of, the alternative which is Shell helix ultra 5W-30 or Castrol edge same spec fully synthetic.

My car is a 1.6 16v 2004 leon
