The way software works if you produce one lemon they are all lemons ... until such time they are updated. It seems from reading that some dealers are not on top of updating the software in the assorted systems whilst Cupra / Seat itself in some instances reading above have just thrown the towel in.Every manufacturer pops out a few lemons
The cars themselves are all built using new systems across a wider range of new control units. Golf 8 and the Leon 4 have similar issues. Suspect Skoda models do unless they were canny enough to hold back. Need to research those. Where just Mib3 has gone into the 2020- vehicles without the other major overhaul they just get the deficiencies of Mib3. Still happy days as the youngsters say .
Edit. Yep MQB Evo platform that includes:

Was the Spanish Seat board that suggested the customers were the beta testers now. Problem seems they changed too much at the same time. If they have got to correct software issues, then the dealers have got to rise to the occasion. This is where you can see from the posts some do, some don't. If they don't sort it out the customer gives up. Will be a lot of VAG cars going to the crushers or sold on with issues if they don't get fixed before they hit the second hand market.
