Monkeytibs do you have a cupra or a cupra r?

The normal cupra TIP is a bit of a pain to fit, its very tricky getting it on the turbo past the metal water pipe......not complicated just a pain.

HIDs arrived today, going to fit them tomorrow if it's not too disgustingly icy. Looks simple as hell, just going to be careful drilling the back of the lights. Anyone got pictures of where they but the ballasts?

That's a good shout actually, I've got some velcro lying around somewhere from when I fitted pressed plates to me old polo. I want to go fit them now but everytime I step outside I go flying on the ice :(

Velcro is better than double side tape because you can remove and refit the ballests if you need to work on anything :)

My drivers side is under headlight my pass side is on battery cover.

I was just using some heavy duty velcro from Halfrauds for my plates and never had a problem with it. My brother's got the car now and they've been on there over a year now!

I'm hearing the words velcro, cable ties and 3m tape alot with these HID fits. Has anyone actually fitted them properly? ;-)
