As I thought, give or take 30% up from around 20% on a fwd. That's abou 20bhp, nearly half of the gain from the box.....

Yes but the gain is almost the same, remember I start from less at the wheel too when at 184hp ;)

Difference is you can do them all day long. Sub 6 seconds in mine it has to be super dry and it's hard to get right.

Plus it's comparing vcds vs. your g meter. I have only just started using vcds and can't say I know how accurate it is.

It's hard to tell compare but I can sort of see what the earlier figures were saying. 0-40/50kmph yours is way better but I swear mine jumps quicker when the traction light switches off above 60kmph. I've not filmed it but mines does 60kmph to 100kmph in a ridiculously short time.

Id still have 4wd given the choice :)

Dean I don't know how you cope with the tuning box on at the moment, I tried to nip out in front of a car today at a junction only to be met with the traction control going slightly mental lol

Even me can light the 4 tires in the wet if turning at the same time, can't imagine that with 2WD

"nipping" in the wet or damp takes serious control of your right foot. You will get the light if you boot in 3rd at 40mph in the wet.

snowfree, you car is very fast when launching up until ~120 kmh, then it becomes a bit slower than I would expect (for that power and torque, as listed by DTUK). haven't you pushed 100% until 180, or the extra weight of the audi plus the quattro starts to get noticed at that speed ?

insurance

Thanks for that, just phoned my insurance, Dial Direct and they said my current company would not insure modified cars and it would be around £1006, with another insurer, current is 380 ! I am 47 with no claims, so was a bit of a shock. Guess it throws that idea out of the window.:censored:

If you have any queries on the best way to insure our systems its probably best to give us a call in the office 01207 299538 as we have various ways of "selling it" to your insurance company. Its was a first but we a gentleman call us a couple of weeks ago and his insurance was reduced? We were shocked to here this but again there are words to avoid wen contacting your insurance company. :)

Yes I see what you mean.

Yours must be faster after initial launch anyway, only thing that could balance that is the Stronic, damn this thing is fast !

I left my foot from the accelerator a bit at around 170kmh (you can see it, the rmp goes backward) but that's it. Apart from that it's full throttle

I guess it's the transmission loss

still it's funny I clocked à 400m in 13.78
