Does anyone have the 3 map box ? Of so what do you find to be the best map?
I ideally want the map with most power through lower revs

I'm finding myself changing the map weekly. I'm now using map 1+3 but find I also like 2+3 and 3+3 so I'm just changing it every now and then

My car stuttered on 2+2 setting. Running 1+2 now and it feels about right for me tbh. Only done about 40 miles with the box fitted though so time will tell. Rather impressed with it I must say. Installation took the whole of 5 minutes. I had to read the instructions again to make sure I hadn't missed anything because I never imagined it to take 5 minutes. It was too simple!

Think the + and - options are just how agressive the power comes in

Not wishing to entice an argument here, I'm genuinely interested and curious…..

Has anyone had any problems with running one of these boxes long term? I know some of these boxes have moved on from the 'resistor in a box' technology but they are still to all intents and purposes just spoofing the fuel, air, boost, etc tables. Any DPF or EGR related issues noticed?

Several people on these forums had problems with judder, depending on the settings of the Box (me included), other's haven't noticed that at all. To me it seems to come down to a matter of tolerances of each individual car. For instance I can only run on +0 settings, others have no problem running +3, and I remember someone state that he had to run on -(minus)settings.

Also there seems to be a slight miscalculation of mpg/kml when using a box - minor though.

Depending on how hard you run the car, it might trigger DPF regen more frequently. I am suspecting that my DPF is running a little more often, but I wont say that is a lot more than without the box.

Mine is in 2 +2 done about 2500 miles since I've fitted it and love it. Did 350 miles other day and was showing 68.3mpg

I've had mine on for 5500 miles and not had any problems, the dpf regens about the same as before I had the box. And I don't get any judder on 3+2, I seem to only get it it on +3. I've been running it on 3+2 most of its life, I started on 1+2 because that's what I had it on my 1.6tdi and there was a lot more torque lower down the revs but when I moved the box to my 184, I found that 3+2 was best as the power showed throughout the rev range and completely took away turbo lag. The power is just there throughout every gear when you need it.
