Sometimes it happens that paddles under steering wheel dont react on order to increasing or decreasing engaged gear. Nothing happen. I need to press down gearbox lever in order to swich to S mode (from D), and back to D and then it become functional. What kind of problem is it ? Lets say it is once per 500km.

Normally you scan when the engine is running...

Pass on the paddles but grabbing the lever and toggling it to S and D fixes the gear selection if your fingers hit the paddle lever on a roundabout and you get stuck in gear. Happens sometimes so the quick fix to restore is the -> S -> D or swap D to S which ever you were in before sorts it out.
