Looks good. I've got some super bright sidelights, normal filament but they're not yellow like the OEM ones. I'can't seem to get the bulbs out to swap. I have a FL Cupra. How easy was it for you?

Do you mean you can't get it of the headlight or that you can't get the actual bulbs out of the connection?

Im waiting on my LED's to be delivered and i could do with a 'mini' tutorial as im not confident in doing this as when i had a look i took off the rubber cap where the sides and drl's are but looks a bit fiddly on trying to remove both bulbs and then to re-attach with the leds?
Do the existing lights pull through the hole so you can release them from their cable and attach the leds?

Yes they do.

Yes they do.

Yee haa bulbs came today and five minutes later on and fitted :D easy job and well worth it too and makes a big difference especially the drl's.

Not sure on the sides yet as it didn't look too bright in the daylight as only got the 5smds and after I ordered I seen some 8smds but still happy :)

Took some pics but in daylight might try again when it's darker.

Next mod?????? Thinking of gloss vinyl of the wing mirrors and grill surround but not sure yet? Got a mate to photo shop a before and after and the lads preferred original. Would post pic but don't know how yet

Well they did arrive today (1 working day after ordering), just fitted them and it was very easy to do.

As requested here are some pics :)

Hi there - I take it you haven't had any error problems with these bulbs - just before I start ordering!!

Cheers

The lights work perfectly and are much better looking than the original ones, but they are not error free.

After discussing with lots of people on here everyone seems to have the same issue with them no matter where you buy them from. Every so often an error message displays on the MFD stating there is an issue with the bulb even though it is working fine.

In order to get rid of the error you simply need to turn the lights off and on again, then the error message disappears.

I've not yet come across anyone yet that hasn't had a similar issue with LED replacement bulbs, most people seem happy to live with it.

:)

As martin says occasionally the error light comes on seems to be more often when its been cold and wet ,

The reason it cause's an error is because the led wattage is lower than the standard bulb wattage so the car thinks the bulb has gone because the wattage is lower , ive been trying number plate light leds at the moment and there even worse showing a permanent error:(

DRL's ordered from HID direct. Looking forward to the fitting!!

Bulbs fitted n looking good. No errors yet!!

Having been fitting led bulbs to previous cars and never had any issues with canbus ones, why are there potential problems with the Leon??
