OK - I'll put this another way.....

I don't want to be driving down the road when yet another barryboy who's maxxed his car and lowered it so much it's riding on bump stops that the driveshaft hits the shell, bends, then breaks showering the whole motorway in 'bits under the engine bay' before spinning out & taking a few cars with him

if thats your definition of dubbing, then that's just plain dumb.

There's rules & regs out there, not to stop you from having a cool car, but to stop you from killing people / yourself.

I understand you totally. Its no were near the bump stops and never will be, i just want a nice ride height. The front dropping a few more mm will be perfect.

I would like to think im not a barryboy, my ibizas subtle and stylish. In my own opinion of course ;)

mines sits about another 10mm lower at the front jenk!
i went to national exhausts and tyres today cos i had a coupon for 1/2 price balancing and tracking, went down and my f'in car wudnt go on the ramps.

time to wind the coilovers UP i think, its a sad day :cry:

i remember setting some billies up about 1/3 way up to take a low start measurement and go from there

then realised it was beeched on the ramps - lol

Next time she goes in the garage i have been strictly instructed to wind the collies up, took the bloke half an hour to get it on the lift :lol:

i dont know if hes registered on here but his names chris bryson, drives a toledo, used to be lowered 50mm but had to get it back onto standard suspension cos he couldnt get to his work properly lol and his sump kept getting shagged.

the guy at national couldnt get my car on the ramps, i was livid, mainly cos i have a coupon for 50% off tracking :lol:
