Dave how has the suspension settled down, are you pleased with your chosen set up.

And did you end up taking up the guys offer of getting it corner weighted

I don't seem to have had enough time to drive it much recently. :( The suspension has settled nicely. I seem to have got the front right first time, although I'd like to try it a little stiffer. The back is, in all honesty, still bouncy but I think I've learned to live with it. The handling of the car is now in a different league altogether - 11mm spacers front and 12mm rear, coupled with the rear arb on the stiffest setting no doubt help. It's now possible to control (and use) the way the back end breaks away. Couple that with the phenomenal braking ability and its a hell of a lot of fun!

I've not done anything about corner weighting - and I must get engine mounts sorted.

I'd really like to get the mapping right next. :D

Thanks for the interest guys.

http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=175297 , check this out and give us your thoughts. cheers. Still trying to get the mapping right after me and thee both getting miffed at the RS rr day ? ( mines in at jbs on tues and i may ask to hold 1.4 all the way )

I wasn't miffed. :) Having sat in my car the previous time my car was on a DD dyno while the operator demonstrated everything it could do, I knew exactly what to expect. ;)

Not 100% with the mapping Dave. I thought you were REVO stage 3. I believe Wilko rates it highly. The problem is though who to go with, i'm considering a custom map in the next few months.
I personally believe that your set up is good for a true 330 bhp but i don't understand why its only making approx 300bhp  maybe it is the mapping.
I must get my handling sorted soon too but i'll wait for a review of your setup first ;)

If a remap will get you 30 extra horses, i'd go for it. £1000 is just a bit steep though.

Yes - mapping, I mean I need to get a 'special' version like Wilko has. ;)
