I've used them all mate, had the greens on my 106gti and the yellows on my R32. I like the ebc pads, they had a really bad rep a few years ago but they seem to have finally gotten there act together and made the pads using a decent compound that won't crumble to bits.

What ones do u prefer for every day / Sunday driving

great build thread and an awesome car mate, Could you please give a bit of feedback on the red stuff pads?

Cheers bud

I've had the red stuffs on for bout a month n in my opinion they are very good haven't a word to complain bout them they have a good feel wen braking and wen we took it out on a test drive after fitting them stamped on the brakes and nearly sent meself through the window screen only one annoying bit is u have to slightly bend the clips on the back of the pad to get the retaining clip to hold them in place over all I would recommended them

With the fuel pump and intercooler it feels a bit smoother and seem to have a bit more tourque wouldn't say it was anything major but deffo got a bit more there epically wen in mid to high revs it seem to hold the power better

Na I haven't as of yet bin pulled for excessive speeding was playin in it down a quite dual carriage way and went flyin past an under cover at round the 90 mark he checked the car over and didn't give me a ticket or even ask a question bout the plate ( and I got off with no point luckily)

That's very lucky lol. I like the idea of changing the plates to pressed ones from dubmeister or whater their called but the threat of being pulled over is worrying.

I used to run pressed plates on me a3 and I was fine bud as long they are from dubmister they are road legal I got pulled for them showed they the bs number n they said ok n let me on me way as long as the plate has a British standards number the have been approved by the country to be used on are roads so even if u went to court police would have no leg to stand on
