Im still having problems with her and i just dont know what is wrong

I left my car at home when i was holiday in the end as i didnt want to risk it breaking down again after that happening twice before i went away

I had a new Temperature Sensor fitted before i went on holiday and its no different so that is ruled out

I had the hoses checked and put back to standard on Saturday but the car is still pulling back so that is ruled out

It seems a bit lumpy on start up from cold and in general, only VERY slightly but surges a bit

When i take it to 4000RPM it judders a bit and then pulls right back before even getting to 5000RPM

We took the MAF out and put it into limp mode and it seemed better than when it was in but seemed to judder a bit at about 2000RPM and still pulled back a bit

I had another Ibiza Cupras N75 Valve on yesterday and it did pull right through to 6000RPM as normal but the fault code is still coming up?

I started it this morning from cold and it was REALLY lumpy and misfired and popped until i blipped the throttle and then settled

This is the fault code i have been getting all along, could this be the problem or is it something separate? Someone must have an idea?

Charge Pressure Control - Positive Deviation

I wish i could find out what this means

Thank you peeps

You said you changed the n75 for another, and the car drove normal?

Have you done any logging to see what teh ecu sensors are seeing? Boost vs actual etc?

I did some logs but more to find out what the airflow was reading to be honest

I only went to about 4000RPM and got 108g/s so i didnt go full whack because it really wasnt running right and pulled back after that but when i did it before when the car was running fine i got 137g/s at 6500RPM

What should the g/s be on idle on these cars?

Doesnt matter about idle.

Log blocks 114 115 118 020 002 under load... ie 4th gear 2000rpm > 6500+

It will give a good idea of what is going on.

Surely a boost problem wont cause a lumpy idle?

Thank you for those, i will have to get it on VAG COM tonight if i can

lamda or dicky coil pack is a possibility, also possibly a loose or damaged spark plug

Yeah the garage mentioned spark plugs but i had the 60,000 mile Service done a month ago, may be they didnt replace them

I will have to check my receipts

Check the vacuum hoses... they're cr*p on the Ibizas. They've a tendency to got hot, solidify then crack. The Y pieces (plastic connectors) in the vacuum system crack as well. If it's not aready done I'd redo the entire vacuum system. Could cause boost issues, idle issues, etc! Worth a go!

This is the first problem i had, had some Samcos fitted and the Intercooler Pipe kept popping off which is why the car broke down twice but i have since had all the original hoses put back on, LOADS of hassle with all that to be honest but i suppose it could still be this causing a problem

I'm meaning the small vacuum hoses that you find under the engine cover... follow the small hose from you DV and you'll find them all!
Approx 5mm diameter. They have a tendancy to rub through, mine had gone around 35k miles.

are you thinking of boost hoses Alex?

Kev is talking about vac hoses, the ones over the top of the engine which connect to all the valves.

very strangely enough when i replaced all my vac hoses with silicon jobby my car started performing better and cured some very random problems i had

edit:abit slow doh

Oh right ok

I know that one of the vacuum hoses to my Dump Valve is starting to have tiny cracks appear but its pretty new to be honest and hasnt gone all the way through?

Surely that wouldnt cause that many problems?
