Display constantly asking me to confirm it is me

Unless I have the ignition switched on the display keeps asking me to press OK to confirm it is me or to press another button to change user, neither button executed either function. The problem is that this is constantly switching to this screen and overwriting all other screens. For example I could not answer a telephone call or set up a navigation address as the screen switched whilst I was typing in an address and switching changed almost on every letter being typed.
How do I stop this irritating display function.

Another problem is that I like to see what gear I am in (automatic). This is not shown unless I set the mode to sport how can we get the display to always show which gear I am in. I often find I am in a low gear but high revs due to traffic an I could manually change up to improve fuel consumption.

Mib2 on the Arona DSG here so can't advice. Doesn't have connected services. I'm not the main driver of the Arona so I'll ask about the gears, but there again it may not be the same being pre facelift. Got a digital display. No moans here but again that may be the way mib3 works.

The selected digital display is the analogue one used here with the speed in big numbers. You could try cycling the digital display screens to see whether you see the gear number better or may be it's something they left out. A quark in the working. Suspect you'll get to see the gear number with fiddling the screen style in the digital dash. I could be wrong thou.

In the preface lifted I'm told it's in the lower left side, so it might be on the menu of display options on the virtual screen it's dropped off the one you are on or a curiosity of mib3 implementation on the Arona. As said the one used here is set to the pseudo analogue display.
