Difference between 1.2 TSI sportrider and 1.2 TSI FR

FR badges are only a few pounds from SEAT.
Although the badge police on here will frown upon it! lol

LOL, I'd like to but I won't because that'd be silly... I know it's the same as the smaller FR in my head and that's what counts...:cartman:

I always thought that my old ibiza looked sportier than it was, at least this one still looks pretty sporty and the performance does live up to it... and without the FR badges it'll take people by surprise a little more (unless they see the TSI on the sides and know what it means) ;-)

A Candy White 1.2 TSI Sportrider SC 2011MY is pretty much the sweetspot of the MK5 range in my eyes. On the lookout for a second hand one at the moment. Equipment, looks and engine are sublime.

Or silver, silver is a bit ubiquitous on the roads but it doesn't half make the nice sharp lines on the sides stand out, I reckon you can see them better on the silver than any other colour... white being second there though..

Looks great actually. I do quite like the look of those seats and the front end on the new style ibiza. Have to say the FR badges do look great and make it look meaner and sportier than mine.... despite it essentially being exactly the same.

Perhaps mines more wolf in sheeps clothing...LOL!!! I guess SEAT are assuming people will go for the badge really and pay a little more for the privilege over the sportrider version.

I do feel a bit peed off now that mine doesn't have FR badges after seeing that... though I know it wouldn't make any more difference to how it goes than go faster stripes...LOL I'm a sucker too!

yer itl ride the same, dont forget i paid extra grand for the badges and the different grill and some red stitching so ya now!

I saw a silver sportrider (pretty sure it was unless it was an FR with badges removed) very much like mine but a facelift version yesterday....looked nice.

havent they stopped doing the sport rider in the new 2012 facelift??

I would agree. If you want a great all-rounder, used Ibiza, then I'd have no hesitation in recommending the 1.2TSI Sportrider. Decent economy, nippy performance, above average handling and well equipped.
