Diesel VAG DPF post injection

I understand you're supposed to get lost injection during regeneration. However I get values for post injection 3 even when the car is not doing a dpf regeneration. Only low values (1 or 2 under acceleration). Is this normal or would you expect 0 when not regenerating.
Been getting some rattle under light throttle. Goes away after you press accelerator down further. Not doing regeneration. Was getting hesitation too. I added some miller's to the tank and in less than 5 miles it's running much smoother. No hesitation at all now. Almost no rattle. But still a dpf post injection value for 3. 0 for 1 and 2. When running rough also had value for 2 but this is now 0. If anyone uses VAG DPF I'd be interested to know if you get any value for injection 3 when not doing regeneration.

Looking back at some old VAG DPF screenshots, during a regen, it shows Post Injection 1 - 1.71, Post Injection 2 - 8.50 and Post Injection 3 - 1.98. When it finishes the regen, they are all zero. Both readings are at standstill/idle. Not tried it whilst driving.

Next time yours is doing a regen at standstill/idle, could you go to the front of the car and see if you can hear a noticeable clicking noise? Mine does it, and stops immediately when the VAG DPF shows the regen has finished. On my previous Ford Focus, it had a separate injector to inject the DPF cleaning fluid in, not sure if the Leon does the regen in a similar way, and it's this injector that's making the clicking noise.

Leon doesn't have fluid to clean dpf. Only Peugeot and Ford use that I think. Leon relies on active regeneration where ECU raises exhaust gas temp to burn off soot in dpf every few hundred miles. It's hard to hear anything during regeneration as the engine fans are cranked up to the max during this.
