Diesel remap glasgow

Hey all,

Just looking to fing out if anyone knows any remap centers
near glasgow, i have a 57 1.9tdi fr at the moment and badly want a remap.
Im not looking for a revo as ive heard too many negative
comments on the map being too harsh. I know this has probably been discussed before but i cant find the info i want, does anyone have any recommendations?

any feedback appreciated

Not had any experience of REVO but people that have it seem to be really pleased with their map. Another option to try is Custom Code, I have their map on my 2.0 TDI Leon and its very smooth.

Harsh with when you accelerate you get that initail burst but it seems
to die out later on. Few mates had the revo done to there cars and werent
overly happy with the results so its put me off a bit, then again the other
might be its just the way there map has went.

Anyone had the revo done to the mk4 ibiza 1.9 that could comment
on this?

Hi Kenny,

Get yourself and car booked in to Star Performance, here in Fife, I know it's a bit of a drive, but it'll be worth it, they'll even do it on a Saturday morning.
There's a link to their website on here, phone up first and have a chat with Jim Curley, he's very knowledgeable and will guide you to the best remap that suits your car and budget.

I've had two cars remapped there with no problems whatsoever.

just had a look at star performance's website can they not just
map the ecu or do you need to have that flash loader fitted?

Hi Kenny,

They can remap or provide a loader with alternative maps so you have the option to load or return to original, I've always gone for a straight remap.

Call them and discuss what you would like.

I have a Tdi (90 bhp) Vario that needs more get up and go!!

Hi there maybe im a bit late maybe but theres a guy up in Helmsdale and he can be mobile to remap your car at your house or work, pretty much anytime even on a sunday i got my leon fr done and its magic now what a diffrence with a good smooth power delivery with awsome power gain. plus its better on fuel. win win situation, and he was very cheap.

hi there have you tried black code glasgow they can come to you or take the car to them i had my toedo done by them and feelit is quicker and still smooth also has improed the fuel economy.
