Well after 3 weeks of waiting my fascia's finally returned. Very happy with them, looks a very decent job. Here's a few teaser photos.

Loving the look of your facias. How much did you pay for it? (If you don't me asking). Also may sound a silly question but did you 3 weeks with no facias in your car??

It cost £56 for the lot plus p&p. Yeah sure did, had no fascia's in the car but still had the climate control unit plugged in lol.

Wow, that's a very good price. What company did you use?? I've been thinking of getting my Facias flocked. Was thinking if going for a Red Flock to match the car colour, but your black looks awesome. Can't wait to see the fitted pics.

I used this company http://www.allfab.co.uk/yorkshireflocking/

I did actually think about red but thought it might be a bit much on a black car. Hopefully get it fitted tomorrow night, but its tricky getting the vents back in above the climate control without them falling apart.

Brilliant, thanks. What length if Flock did you go for?

I dont actually know as I didnt ask for a specific length. Its no more than 2mm though. I love the feel of them haha.

Going to get some more bits done after xmas like the steering wheel surround, possibly the strips off the door handles and maybe even the surrounds where the mirror switch is. I might have to have a good think at what else I could have flocked :D

If you want to contact someone there email Mike on [email protected]

He was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

OK no worries. Sounds good, I think people are kind of using you as a Guinea Pig when it comes to Flocking :)

Thanks for the contact details, I'll look at getting my Dash Flocked after Xmas.

I got the idea off another member's rr as he got them done in his cupra. I'll see if I can find it.

Well I fitted the fascia's last night and I must state the vents on the climate control fascia are an absolute pita to get back in and everything else seemed a lot harder to put back in. This might of been because I was doing it in the dark lol

Anyway I will put some half decent quality photos up later when Im not at work as I cant access photobucket here.

My initial thoughts are that they look great and something I wish I had done ages ago. Having said that, there are a few draw backs with the radio fascia and the functionality of the buttons as the flocking has made the 6 round buttons at the bottom of the radio very stiff and they dont spring back out once pressed. So I will have to dismantle the headunit again and try to make the holes larger so I can use the radio with the iPod dock again as I think this is causing the tracks to stop after each one.

On the upside I love the look and feel of them and I'm now deciding what else I can have done.

You should be. Just a shame it took 3 weeks. Where they a real pain in bum to get back into place??

The fascia's weren't difficult to get back on, though the vent rings needed a bit of force. The hardest part was trying to get the vents back in next to the climate control unit as the blades fall out of place very easily. Just needs a bit of patience.

Yeah was a shame it took so long but Mike at Allfab said they over ran on a big job and has given me 25% off my next bits. Usually it would take 7 days.

Oh right ok, I think I'd only get my main facias done.

Cracking that's a result. What else you thinking of getting done??

The handle surrounds on the doors, the bigger bits that clip off the main door handles, steering column and maybe the speaker surrounds too.
