just wanna make sure I get this right before I start fitting them. I've read this guide:
http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=146219&highlight=fitting+hids

and it mentions fitting a relay, however he mentions Mk2 owners. Do i still need to use a relay on the Mk3 or would it be as simple as this:

black plug in the socket:

obviously red to red, black to black:

do i wire those straight to the original headlight wiring? Or is this where i need to place a relay?

the reason i as if i need a relay or not is that because on this image:

it shows "to earth" and a positive with an inline fuse, both coming from the balast. I dont have these wires, all i have are the ones above

Like said you can them to replace both, the Cupra ive just got has HID in the dipped but high beam is just normal, but it has HID foglights too.

i know that now ;)

need a different question answering. so, if you had HIDs, I'm guessing you installed em yourself! Do I need relays on them?

No, well the ones that are on the ibiza dont have relays, and there only ones off ebay aswell, just have a balast box i think its called which is pictured above...

i gathered you did lol. so i wire the 2 "loose" wires to my positive and earth from the existing headlight wires?

gonna gi my car a quick clean, so if anyone else wants to confirm the correct way, you still have time ;)

BTW, i'm just using the HIDs to directly replace my dipped beam

yea those wires go in the old headlight bulb plug. fitted the exact seame kit yesterday. v happy with it. u just gota get a cone cutter and cut a hole in the headlight cover. v easy though did mine with the bumper off in an hour. although tht was in a workshop. got good beam pattern still to
