Todays little project

Over the next couple of weeks I'll test fit it, seal it, spray it black and then wrap it in Carbon Fibre.

It's aim is not for aero but to protect the plastic splitter aswell as look good, hopfully !!!!!!

Done a bit more on the splitter this weekend

With Tom's help we got it lined up and wedged in place, it stick's about at the front by 1".

Then cut the back out so it fits better under the car and sprayed the edges.

Next weekend I'm hoping to bolt it all in place and see what it looks like,

Then I've got to decide what finish it will have, Carbon or gloss black It's got to be carbon I think

Splitter will look good once done and thinking about it, I have changed my mind and will say it should be carbon as this is after all 'Project Carbon'

It was only that low cos I was coming off the drive I'll be raising it next weekend, I'm getting a slight bit of rubbing with the 15mm spacers on the back .

This is all looking top dollar Darren. The board's shape looks spot on. It's got the BritCar look about it. My vote is... I'm torn Carbon would be the most suiting option so that it all matches, but from experience, black paint on wood, with a bit of effort, can give such good depth in shine because of the smoothness you can achieve.

Either way, it's gonna look great
