Cutting Out

Bought Mk 1 (Facelift) Leon Cupra 1.8 turbo about 5 weeks ago!

All appeared ok and fine. All of a sudden over the last couple of weeks it's been cutting out by itself, whilst going along -(Quite scary), sometimes it cuts right out and other times it jerks and splutters then carries on!

Anyone out there experienced this before, what's the problem with it, whats the solution??

Any thing on the dash! any lights.
Check all you hose and see if the tight!

If not disconnect the batterry and reconnect after 15mins. Do a Trotlte body reset (Doa search).

Does is cut out when revs are close to idle, or when you've got your foot on the accelerator.

Cutting out when it's running close to idle could point to a faulty coolant temperature sensor.

You really need to get vag-com on it to see what fault codes are comig up.

No Lights on the dash!!

The car cuts out when going along not necessarily when you get close to idle!

I think the car has had a new coil pack as i phoned the garage which done all the maintenance throughout its life!

I'll check all hoses though,.

Any other info would be appreciated!!
