If you decide to keep the rear wiper cause you need it but want something cleaner, as i know the Ibiza ones dont look to nice get one off something like a MK5 Golf, there much cleaner looking, not as bulky. Think Dave Smith had one on his Ibiza and that looked pretty tidy

my mate has been looking for a cleaner rear windscreen wiper for ages

does the MK5 Golf wiper bolt straight on the MK3 Ibiza then?

I meant Polo, apologies :headhurt:
Its the MK5 Polo/Lupo IIRC but you have to speicfy the GTI version as the others just come with poop ones like the Ibiza. I think its about £22 for the arm, blade and the little cap over the nut as the Ibiza one doesn't fit on

The one mentioned above fits on without modification, i did used to have the part numbers for when i was looking but i just took mine off instead, i think Dave Smith still has his and his breaking his Ibiza so you might be able to get it a bit cheaper off him :D

standard wiper is gash

I think the wiper should be your next mod....I am sure £22 wont dent the hybrid savings pot too much:D

Minor update, dropped my car in on monday to AMD Woking to have her 70k service and to fit my new Brembos:D

Got her back on tuesday and all is well! Digi cam is playing up so no pics of it as yet, but they look amazing under my Oz Superleggeras. Proper bit of wheel and brake po*n! Still bedding them in, but they are a significant upgrade over the standard setup. Took a look at my old discs and they must have been either the original discs or been on for aaaaaaaaaages, serious lip on them, the pads were doing ok though. Found out they were pagid's, not bad either for the abuse i gave them. Ordered a new front bumper as mine cracked reversing off my drive, so gotta get that sprayed up aswell, then exterior wise she will be back on form!:D

Updates to come in the future, got a spec stage 3+ clutch to get fitted, current clutch(standard) is starting o get shown up since the ko3s went on, starts to burn and stick when i give it some stick.

Also, getting the bits together to do the ko3hybrid conversion. So far i have, TT/BAM injectors and 3' MAF. Before i get any more bits i want to sort the handling out, so going to order some AP coilovers as they have had nothing but good reviews and then some ARB's. THEN im going to go with an INA manifold, LCR TIP, LCR fuel pump, get the turbo sent to CR Turbos and get Bill to fit and map her up!

Going to take a while to do but im in no rush and happy with how the car drives at the moment!

A few updates to report, sent my car to AMD Surrey to get her 70k service done and to fit my Brembos that i bought in a group buy from Badger5, great bit of kit! Had to order some longer wheel nuts for the 5mm front spacers to clear the oz's, pic of the new and old wheel bolts:

Next up....managed to get hold of a Spec Stage 3+ clutch from a fellow member, only done 500miles and got it at a very good price. Since the KO3s went on the standard clutch as started making a smelly burning smell when given abuse so a new one was needed. Need to get it fitted but it will be more than up to the job of the ko3hybrid!

Started to slowly build up the parts needed for ko3hybrid, a set of TT 225 injectors came up for sale aswell as a 3' MAF so had to snap them up! Injectors are in very good condition with just over 40k on them, same with the 3'MAF

Had to make an unexpected purchase this month aswell :( Broke my front bumper reversing off my drive :(

Was making the car look very tatty and i hate that, so went to Halfrauds and bodged it with some red tap, more to stop it scraping and catching on things on the road

carpicsbrembosandotherparts008.jpg

So went onto ebay and got a brand new one for 100quid already primed, so just need to get it sprayed up

I've just put a new bumper on mine aswell! Original one was scraped on the corners and covered in chips, but managed to pick up a corker on ebay for a brand new already sprayed black for £77!
Progress is looking great tho bud, any plans to drop it a little?
