cupra R and FR rear bumper are they different?

I still cant tell the difference. and the cupra is not the same as the top one tho is it, cos it has bumper strips like the black one above.

you cant tell the difference with all these pics?

ok so post #14 may confuse you a little as this is the pre face lift cupra/fr bumper. So for the purposes of this thread i suggest you forgot this bumper. (although its a warning that if you go out to buy a bumper make sure its the one you are expecting..)

The Cupra R bumper is deeper. IE it protrudes rearwards from the car a little further.
The numer plate recess either side of the number plate is angled, not vertical like on the cupra/fr.
The cupra/fr bumper has little bulges at the bottom behind each rear wheel which sort of continue the lines of the side skirts.
and one of the biggest differences is the cupra R bumper has a large section in the middle at the bottom below the number plate, (much where you would see a diffuser) which is not colour coded, its dark grey almost black.
Then the cut out for the exhaust is in a slightly different place, so if you go for the R bumper you may need to adjust the exhaust a little to fit the gap properly.


Overall id say the cupra/fr bumper has curves and the cupra R bumper has a slightly more angular look to it.
