would it not make you think were it as gone or is it a lcr?

I would be curious but wouldn't lose any sleep over it and personally prefer the steering wheel without the red strip as then the red on the sides doesn't com through and look like its falling to pieces.

Maybe the last owner got bored and chewed the wheel whilst sat in traffic or something then replaced it..... :)

psycho6285 - I am hoping to have mine refurbished by Paul at Leather Revive, he's based in the North though so this job isn't getting done until the end of April (26th) (I am in Oxford - so quite a way for him to travel). There are some leather colouring kits you can buy but I figured it'd be wise to have it done by a pro (he was completing a 3-day job on an Aston Martin DB5 the last time we spoke, so I am presuming a high standard of work!). You can find him on Google.. I'll post up again when I have the work done

Yeah please do, and will be alot cheaper than a new one!!!! Its the only thing letting the interior down on it.
