Has anyone here got any actual hands on experience with the JB1 tuning box? Has anyone put it on a 300 ST 4drive?

How tricky was it to install?
What was the difference it the car from stock?
Did you need to disconnect it for each service?
Was it as claimed 'untraceable'?

I had a JB1 before upgrading to a JB4. The connections are the same in all the EA888 gen 3 hiogh output engines. Its a 20 min job in and out. All you need are a couple of axle stands to access the lowest plug, and a flat head screw driver to open a few clips. There are install videos on YouTube. The only way a dealer can detect the thing is if you install it or remove it without letting the ECU go to sleep, or if you don't remove it at all and send your car in with it still attached. Leave the car switched off up on the stands for five minutes, the ECU will go to sleep & you're grand. It makes a fair bit of difference to the car. Helps with delivery of the power too. It's not like you're left guessing if there's more power. To use the extras grunt you will need decent tyres & a dogbone insert. The torque limiter deactivation via whatever OBD reader is kind of a must too. This is easily reversible prior to a service.
