Creeking sound from suspension area

Hi folks I drive 1.4 petrol SE model does any one know why during the cold weather it creeks and groans. It sounds like its comming from the suspension or shock absorbers. The odd thing is this noise totally goes away when the warmer months are here. Its been like this from new and the dealer said theres not a problem with it. It has passed every MOT no problem and is now 6 years old.

my rear d/s is creaking...people say that the grit from winter periods dry's out the bushes housing causing creaking sounds, and how a bit of wd40 solves this

WD40 sounds good can I spray the creeking parts without getting it on a ramp, eg from under the wheel arch. I must stress im not technical.
