It's like a high pitched short single blip for lock and double blip for unlock. I think it comes from the same place that makes the sound for the alarm. Did it on my brother's bora too and it's exactly the same sound.

No might have missed a button out might try it later, but chances are my CCM is to early.
I can do the alarm and everything else via vag com anyway, just the windows i'll miss out on.

mine wouldnt work in the motordiag but in vagcom it worked fine

i purchased a cabel from ebay, and it came with a vcds thingy ma-bob... installed the cabel driver and downloaded the czech program...

heres what im doing..

turn ignition to on (dash check lights come on)
connect cabel
start czech program
go through the stages and click on setup, input serial code and press register. this blanks the number i just put in. then i select com port 4 and test. it says interface ok.
when i click on the ok button the activate oken button is still greyed out. if i click Konfigurace jednotky it loads a bunch of codes and brings up the window, but none of the boxes are ticked and it only the exit button at the bottom is highlighted...



help please...

Hmm what car do you have volvic?

Have you tried connecting vagcom with that cable? You can download a free version and test the cable if not. Then try again with the czech program.

I've got a 55 late fr+ diesel. If by vagcom you mean that trial Ross program, I have that and it seems to work with the cable.
I'll try again with another laptop...

ive got the program, registered it (i think?) what bit do i actually need to change to do the windows? when i click that activate windows button it just comes up with messages for me to click OK on, then goes off and does something. windows dont shut when i lock the car though.

Trying on a windows vista laptop now and still no joy. I get the same timeout message and it closes the app.

I tried on my other halfs laptop till that battery gave way, now I've just killed my sisters battery

This might sound silly, but can anyone tell me what/where the on position is? Is it just before you start the car? (with dash lights on)
I could of sworn my old car had marks telling you the positions, but the Leon doesn't have them

What's the FTDI USB to serial driver for? Are you using a USB Vag Com cable?
