where can i get the bracket to hold my dynatwist in place just like the one in your last pic, mine is broke and since landed a new home in the bin.

where abouts are you. i might have a spare one in the garage.

Karlos. i went for the dynatwist as i thought it would be slightly louder then the bmc with roughly the same performance.. but with the feed off its probably too loud (and a tiny bit boy racerish) and with the feed on almost unoticeable. if had known this before hand i would definately have gone for the bmc.

I dint have mine down as far as yours so i was able to keep both the Fog Mounts. If i was to do it again there would be a few things i would be able to do better. But im chuffed with the result.

Thanks for the warning about the wire!!! I taped it up :)

Also that bit that you said you hacksawed off. I found a plastic popper rivet thing right under it. I managed to get it out after i had cut the hole. You can see the hole where it went at the far right.

cant believe you managed to get that piece of plastic off.. i tried everything, i was so close to taking the bumper off and removing the headlight...well done.

job looks like it should work a treat, i hope youre pleased... did you do something about the stud on the inner wing near the filter, it will chafe (spelling) through the CIA as it enters the filter, so be careful mate.. i cut mine down with a dremel just enough so i cld put the nut back on it. if i need to refit the old airbox in the future i will make something at work to screw onto the stud.

I put my cold air feed on too, same hose as yourself but when i attached it to the dynatwist on full throttle it sucks the pipe flat!
so i had to take it off the end of the filter and just let it fill the area with air rather than let the filter suck it!

Thats weird BCM, you sure that the end of the CIA (cold air feed for SKORCHIO's benefit) isn't up against something? my car has a few more mods than yours and i have had the REVO trial without any probs with sucking feeds flat... just seems weird.wrong to me.

My feed now is forcing air in rather than air being sucked in.... is yours going to the front of the car?

Have you fitted a cone to the end of the intake pipe?? Was suggested to me, so was wondering if you had looked at doing it?

Trimming a cone (any) to the size of your intake for example 80mm, but the widest part of the cone may be 120mm, so that you actually "scoop" more air than the feed would, also means its running at a bit of pressure... i think lol

I would mate..... MIKE my air feed is going to my foglight hole, which has a cone profile.... the logs suggest it does a decent job..

No more crap will get sucked up than with the standard intake I would have thought. And if it does, the air filter will sort it out. Might be worth checking the filter more often though, just to be on the safe side ;)

Lol. i live in the countryside so i do worry about field mice making a home in my dynatwist....they're well happy until they get mashed by the turbo and fed to my engine :)

It could include all that, but the guy that would do it for free is s**t and scratches rims so I'm going to pay £25 to get them all done at VAG-Tech when i get my service.
