Hi

I know this has been covered before but i run some searches and not really found the results i was after

i'm thinking of getting coilovers for my FR (2008)

which ones are the best to go for?? how much?? etc...

its got 20k on the clock so is there anything else i'll need to change??

as you can tell i don't really know much about this so your help would be great!

Cheers

around £350 mate. V-Maxx look like the better option to be honest, what are people's feedback to them??

i read about a week back that because there 20k on the clock there may be a part that will need replacing??

i recently put on Jamex coilovers Cant fault them plus the price was good!......put for the extra go with the recommendations like of V-max.

My car was sitting just under 40k so i replaced the top mounts too

Basically a straight swap for the standard suspension to be honest. You just need to swap or replace the top mounts and then fit the coilovers how the old suspension came out.

went for the V-Maxx in the end, price isn't bad and other people reckon it does a good job :funk:

how much will it cost in general to get it re-cambered?

Cheers

ive heard very good things about the v-max kit.
to get the wheels aligned and front camber adjusted i was qouted £60ish......but thats going to a local tuning company which is always going to be expensive.....and good tyre fitter should be able to do the work!

The problem i had is the tools they use to do the camber sits on top the tyre and my car being so low, ended up being a bit of a nightmare! lol

reckon a normal garage will be able to sort it??

ah thats not good lol how much have you lowered yours??

i'm still not sure about the top mounts yet, i think its going to be the case of trying to fit them and see lol probably not the best way to go about it to be honest!
