Cobra Exhaust Fitted

Had my Cobra turbo-back fitted yesterday. Glad I went for the resonated, didn't think it'd be that loud...

Is it just me or is it not sitting right though? It seems to hang lower than it should and slightly to the left.

Does look a bit off. I'd say it needs rotating a little on the rear section of the exhaust system to get it central and straight. Height wise you could manipulate the hangers to get it higher up.

Had the same issue on my LC180, created a custom exhaust mount with Powerflex mount. Also pressed the last mount through the Y-piece and pressed another piece of rubber on it so it cannot shift.

I've got the same system on mine...same colour Lcr btw.

Cant remember offhand but the tailpipe sits to one side of the cutout in the bumper...it moves on the hanger...i centralised it but I'm sure its moved again.

Couple of notes for the hanger and a bolt which I had lying around. Modded the original mount.

That looks really nice mate, get it pulled up so it is concentric to the bumper gap and that will look spot on.

What other exhausts did you look at out of interest?

I had to do the same to my exhaust new hanger above axle to pull it up and adjust the one near the bumper and secure with a jubilee on the exhaust bracket

Thanks for the feedback all. I'll have a chat with the guy that did it and see if he can amend the hangers at all.

I had the rear discs and pads done at the same time. Cost for all of it was £260.
