Clunk noise when braking

I have a LC 2002 MK1. when i'm driving and when car is going down hill or up and I brake it makes very loud crunk noise. It's normal when i'm drining on the leveled road bit only happends when its tillted up or down hill.

It's a very strange nosie and woundering if any 1 had this problem or know any 1 had this issue.

My guess would be one of the bushes has gone, or moved!

So bshes for Brake?? Also if it helps when hand brake is not fully up i got out form car it makes crank noise too but when habd brake is fully locked it doesnt make nay noise.

Thats because the wheels ain't being griped fully, so move a little I would guess, wouldn't worry about that, just make sure you put it fully on, otherwise your car might not be where you left it!

I'd put money on one of the bushes being shot, or poped out slightly, i'm sure other people will come along and give there thoughts pretty soon!

Try doing a search, sure you'll find loads of info!
