So i decided to get a standard back box for when i put the teg on the track, which is going to be more often now (first ones on the 26th) as the spoon ones kinda loud - 104db at 6k without the bung and 102db at 6k with the bung!
Got the back box was £30 which i was pleased about and fitted it tonight to see whats going on.......99db at 6k now, which i think is pretty good for just a back box, bearing in mind its still on the spoon b pipe, decat and mugen manifold!

Was suprised how different it actually is to drive now, all i hear is engine and the AEM rather than exhaust
The exhaust does actually sit in the bumper now which makes it look crap but its not staying on so i can live with it for the few times it goes on.....function over form an all that

Anyways comparison pic of the standard vs the spoon (which has been cleaned now!) :D

Also painted the suspension arms up, not the most exciting of things but it keeps things fresh at least

presume there is no drop in performance ,just noise?

Yeh i can't really see or feel a drop in performance tbh just is a LOT quieter. Like i say its only so i can go on more track days as i can make more noise limits with this, it does its job, the Spoon one is staying on all the other times though!

****!!! looks like my Milltek one thats does..

Bring it too mine u chump so my next door neighbour can beat you with it...be interesting to hear it...actually..

I think im gunna take it off tomorrow night, its Jap NW on Sunday, no way am i turning up with this back box on it looks that dog shizzle! Its mahosive compared to the Spoon one. Seriously the cars like a ninja now i can creep up on people :D
