That looks amazing!

Where did you get that from and how much was it?

Spare rocker cost me £30, the paint cost me £10 and i sprayed it myself, only took a couple of hours to strip and paint it. Never used wrinkle paint so was a bit nervous of how it would turn out but im really pleased :D

Top work there mate, really looks like a pro job!

Cheers fella :D

how does crinkle paint work anyway?

Basically goes on slightly differently to normal paint, just looks a little thicker, literally one coat and the thing was fully bright red, but its the final coat that actually crinkles it all, only problem is its a really slow drying paint so it might take 2 or 3 hours to air dry and crinkle or you can do it the way i did and put it in the oven (even though the door wouldn't close!) for about an hour at 100 degrees and it dries in no time, as your basically baking it the same way they bake cars at the body shop really. All baking it does is make the wrinkles look tighter. If you didn't bake it i don't think it would look as good TBH

loving the engine bay shot

looks odd though as the engine looks very much shifted to the right of the bay? how does that balance out then?

TBH ive never really thought about it that much the only thing i can think is the gearbox is very much to the left so i suppose the weights positioned a little more evenly there and you've always got a driver so that will add a little more weight. Its got no ABS or airbags so its shed a few pounds there :D

Handling wise its pretty neutral, it did used to have some understeer but when i put the bigger rear ARB on it dialed a lot of it out and made it more neutral, theres still a tad bit there but nothing a h-brace can't help and im getting one in a couple of weeks, so its all good :D

Excellent car :) The rocker cover looks really good. A friend of mine used to have a 98 Spec JDM and the sound it made on Vtec was awesome, the feeling of it kicking into sent the adrenaline racing.

There amazing mate, you really have to have been in one to know what there all about and appreciate them fully
That ones looks nasty though shame to see one end up that way, especially a 98 spec :( Hope he was ok though!
