Got a couple more things to do this weekend and then i gotta get some logs done, so i'll update it again once all thats done!

chris

when i first met you and seen your car, id probably have said it had seen better days, but over the last 12 months (i know you have had stuff off my car but its besides the point) your car has made a MASSIVE turn around, the amount of improvements you have made, big and small, and you take in what people advise and you see the improvements from it (unlike some on here), id say you have a VERY fine motor their mate  and it just keeps getting better, i take my hat off to you :)

look forward to hearing your future plans and seeing the ones i know fitted :D

Been busy this weekend with the car, so thought i would update the thread again

My HIDs arrived on Saturday morning, so decided to get these fitted, as had been wanting them for a while

Think there was just enough stamps on lol

15112008389.jpg

Got them all fitted, and im happy that ive finally got some light :D

16112008391.jpg

Also starting to tidy up the engine bay a little, so sprayed my rocker cover, cam cover and a few brackets black

16112008392.jpg

Decided to spray my power steering cap black too, as it always stood out being green, did look a bit odd

16112008393.jpg

Also did my logs on the car this weekend, been meaning to do it for a while, so finally got round to it

WG duty pegged at 95.3% sounds like you got a boost leak, but requesting 22psi at 6800 is asking for quite a lot, might be worth just checking your hoses tho just in case. Wonder what dave was seeing wg duty wise.

See it does slightly drop in the mid range, and i did another log and it dropped more for a longer peiod of time, but it only ever does it in the mid range. Theres no boost leak, the intercooler, vac pipes and tip have been tested, so unless its somewhere else i have no idea. My mates got a Jabba map and his does the same, it requests virtually max boost all the way, even though theres no chance of it meeting it, but in the mid range where the turbo meets it the WG duty drops slightly, thats whats confusing

Ive asked Dave to have a look, so it would be good to get his opinion on it, im still convinced its the map over anyhting else though

Fitted my TT short shifter and B&M one over the weekend
The TT one took around 10 mins was really easy!
The other one was a pain though, decided to try and do it from inside rather than drop the exhaust, managed it, but it was fiddly to say the least, but once all the fiddly stuff was done it was easy. There both working well now and im very impressed with how short the gear ratio is now :D
